Dear Colleagues, It is our great pleasure to announce the 2nd Sepsis Treatment And Research (STAR) Symposium, which will be held in Vecsés, Hungary, 12-13 September 2025, and we would like to invite all doctors and nurses involved in the care of critically ill patients to this exciting event. We invited acknowledged international experts and key opinion leaders in the field of intensive and critical care medicine, and the program of the symposium aimed to present the most important elements and latest research results related to the care of critically ill patients suffering from sepsis and septic shock. We will discuss hot topics including respiratory and hemodynamic management, blood purification techniques, sepsis associated coagulopathy, nutrition, pain management, biomarkers, etc. This year we will focus on the role of Artificial Intelligence in intensive care and last but not least we aim to provide insight into research design and publication processes. Beyond the academic program, our meeting will offer an exceptional opportunity to discuss opinions and views, develop cooperation and a common way of thinking, share experiences, and create social networks for a better intensive and critical care. STAR 2025 will take place in a fancy and cozy venue, the Eprespark Event Centre, Vecsés. Those who cannot attend in person can also participate online. Tisztelt Kollégák! Nagy örömömre szolgál, hogy a Magyar Égési Egyesület Kongresszusa 2025. szeptember 12-13. között Szegeden kerül megrendezésre. Kongresszusunkon szakmánk jeles képviselői és a társszakmák legkiválóbb előadói tartanak felkért előadásokat a szakmánkat érintő legújabb ismeretekről és módszerekről. Az elmúlt években a magyar égés ellátás komoly változásokat élt át. A kongresszus lehetőséget ad az égési sérültek ellátásával foglalkozó szakemberek tapasztalataink megosztására és az aktuális kérdések megvitatására. Az esemény kiváló alkalmat nyújt a résztvevőknek, hogy közelebbről megismerjék egymás munkáját és bemutassák eddigi eredményeiket és kutatási területeiket, amelyek hosszú távon is hasznosak lesznek szakmai fejlődésünk szempontjából. A programok széles kínálata lehetővé teszi, hogy új ismereteket sajátítsunk el, emellett lehetőségünk nyílik társas interakcióra, kapcsolatteremtésre, a szakmai közösségünk megerősítésére is.
