Development and function of cytokine producing immune cells Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the Division of Molecular Immunology and the lab of Brigitta Stockinger. The position is funded by the Medical Research Council for a period of 4 years to study development and function of cytokine producing immune cells in fate reporter mouse models. Candidates should have solid immunological experience, have worked with animal models and be capable of isolating and analysing rare cells types from different tissues using flow cytometry, microscopy, histology and molecular techniques such as RNA isolation from cells and tissue, RT-PCR analysis and gene reporter assays. This is a training and development opportunity for post doctoral scientists and provides opportunities to develop research project skills and collaborative links with colleagues within the Institute and elsewhere. Situated in Mill Hill, North West London, the National Institute for Medical Research is the largest MRC institute, supporting some 70 research groups and 500 bench scientists.
