Kedves Kolléganők és Kollégák!
Évtizedekkel korábban a köldökzsinór átvágásának szigorúan vett pillanatát tekintette a szakma a szülészet és a neonatológia (a magzat és az újszülött) találkozási pontjának. Ezt a szemléletet törte át 1994. február 10-én a Semmelweis Egyetem Baross utcai Női Klinikáján a legendás Baross utcai Szülészeti Esték (BUSZE) 11. rendezvényén a Szülészeti, Perinatológiai és Aneszteziológiai Társaság (SZPAT) megalapítása és célkitűzéseinek elfogadása. Ezek alapján a magzat világra segítése szülészek, neonatológusok és aneszteziológusok együttműködését igényli határvonal nélkül, a gyermeküknek életet adó édesanyák és újszülöttjeik érdekében. Az új szemlélet annak a felismerésén alapszik, hogy a szülészeknek szükségük van a másik két szakma képviselőinek együttműködő munkájára is. Ezt a gondolkodásmódot Papp Zoltán professzor úr 1990-től a Baross utcai pályafutása során vezette be és következetesen alkalmazta: a szülészek, a neonatológusok és az aneszteziológusok egy csapatnak számítottak. Ezt a háromszöget alapozta meg az általa 2010-ben létrehozott Maternity Szülészeti és Nőgyógyászati Magánklinikán is a három vezető szakma (szülész, aneszteziológus és neonatológus) korrekt és eredményes kooperációjával.
Az új szemlélet terjesztője és ápolója hazánkban a SZPAT rendszeresen megtartott kongresszusa lett. A három szakma képviselőinek nemzetközileg is egyedülálló együttműködése ez évben elérkezett a XXII. kongresszusához, melynek nagy örömünkre a 15. születésnapját ünneplő Maternity Magánklinika adhat otthont 2025. szeptember 11-én a Mercure Castle Hill Hotel előadótermében. Összekapcsoltuk a rendezvényt a Ian Donald Inter-University School magyar tagozatának esedékes XIX. összejövetelével is. Remélhetőleg a gazdag program a perinatológiában érdekelt és az új eredmények iránt érdeklődők számára hasznossá és emlékezetessé teszi összejövetelünket. Mivel a szálloda 10 perc sétára van a Maternity Magánklinikától, alkalmat biztosítunk a Klinika meglátogatására is.
