Sequencing Osteoporosis Therapies

In this webinar, Dr McClung will present the different approaches to sequential treatment of osteoporosis, which are often required for this chronic disease. He will focus on the effects of transitioning from one type of medicine to another, between anti-resorptive and to anabolic therapies. He will present the outcomes of various clinical trials on the sequential treatment strategy, evaluating changes in BMD, bone turnover markers and reduction in the risk of fragility fractures. Dr McClung will also explain the clinical principles that physicians should consider within the appropriate planning of the life-long therapeutic regimen to achieve maximum efficacy with minimum risk of complications.
