ABOUT THE SOCIETY

The Hungarian Society for Osteology and Osteoarthrology was established in 1990.
The main purpose of our society and of the Hungarian Osteoporosis Center is to raise the standards of osteoporosis care in Hungary.
To fulfil this mission we co-ordinate and support the osteoporosis outpatient clinics, and offer regular refresher courses in order to increase the knowledge in the field of osteoporosis care.
We also assists in the research of various issues regarding osteoporosis and the related disorders in Hungary. The Society and the Center are organized for health care professionals (doctors, nurses etc.) and to date we have more than 2000 members.
