Dear Members of the Hungarian Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy,
We recently sent you an invitation to our POC-Echo survey to collect data on the use of point-of-care echocardiography among European Intensivists and Anesthesiologists.
This survey will provide insight into the true prevalence of bedside echocardiography. Although the critical care journal and social media are very vocal about the use of echocardiography, the truth may be that
it is not yet widely used. Probably, large discrepancies in the experience and frequency of echocardiography use are likely to be found, depending on the local accessibility of echocardiography equipment and
the experience of participants. We aim to point out these limiting factors.
The survey consists of 25 questions and should take approximately 5-8 minutes to complete. For clinicians without echocardiography experience, the survey focuses on limitations and will take 2 minutes to complete.

This survey is endorsed by ESICM - the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine.
We would greatly appreciate your participation,
Yours sincerely,
Steering Committee
