A flexibilis endoszkópos technika alapjainak áttekintése után a kurzus bepillantást nyújt e rövid múltra visszatekintő minimál invazív sebészeti módszer részleteibe. Célunk a természetes testnyílásokon keresztül végzett sebészeti eljárások módszerének ismertetése, a módszer jelenlegi hiányosságainak bemutatása. A résztvevőknek alkalmuk nyílik a NOTES technika kipróbálására műtőtermi körülmények között.

Ez az amerikai ASBMR mellett a világ legjelentősebb kalcium- és csontanyagcsere konferenciája, kimagaslóan jó tudományos programmal.
