The congress programme will cover the most important and exciting topics in basic and clinical internal medicine, the major aspects of various medical problems selected for their importance for European Internists. The priority of the Organizing Committee is to provide the highest quality of scientific information to the participants through a wide selection of topics and speakers. State of the art lectures, evidence-based internal medicine sessions, satellite symposia covering the latest clinical and laboratory developments will be the main parts of the program. | The 18th ESC will provide you with the best of science in all aspects of stroke including translational research from bench to bedside and backwards. The educational full first day will be of utmost importance with increasing numbers of teaching courses and the new programme for nurses and AHPs, first established in Glasgow 2007. A series of oral and poster presentations will update the most recent original research worldwide, along with educational mini-symposia and scientific symposia.
