Dear friends and colleagues, It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 26th congress of the European Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery in Budapest in September 2025. The ESSFN was founded fifty-five years ago with the mission to investigate the etiology and mechanisms of diseases of the nervous system, and to develop and teach functional and stereotactic neurosurgical treatment methods. In half a century we built a large network in which currently more than 400 members from fifty-five countries participate. We gather during our fantastic biannual conferences to share our experience and learn from our colleagues. The successful last edition in Stockholm 2023 is still fresh in our minds. Since then, the turmoil in the world has only increased further and many of our basic human values and needs are under threat continuously. As a scientific society, regardless of race, religion and politics, we demonstrate that achievements only come about when we let international understanding and alliance prevail, to the benefit of our patients. For the upcoming 26th ESSFN conference we return to the hometown of one of the fourteen founding fathers of the ESSFN, the beautiful city of Budapest. Save the dates! Let us all meet there in September 2025 to celebrate our friendship and foster ongoing and future collaboration. 9. Gyermeksürgősségi Konferencia és Továbbképző Napok

Kedves Kollégák! A 9. Gyermeksürgősségi Kongresszusnak idén Nyíregyháza ad otthont, 2025. szeptember 25-27. között, a Váci Mihály Kulturális Központban. Nyíregyháza nemcsak a régió meghatározó egészségügyi központja, de különleges abban a tekintetben is, hogy 1982-ben az országban elsőként szerveződött Sürgősségi osztály a Megyei Kórházban, majd 1992-ben a gyermekosztályon ”Sürgősségi gyermekellátó egység, kezdte meg munkáját szintén úttörőként. A tudományos program reményeink szerint ismét sokszínű, a sürgősségi gyermekellátás minden szegmensét felölelő témákat tárgyal, melyben helyet kapnak a társszakmák is. A kongresszus fő témái: - az újszülöttek, fiatal csecsemők sürgősségi ellátása - 14-18 éves korosztály ellátásával kapcsolatban felmerülő problémák (pszichiátria, nőgyógyászat, toxikológia stb.) - infektológia – (régi új ragályos betegségek, járvány kezelés a különböző ellátási szinteken, lázas állapot 3 hónapos kor alatt) - betegirányítás a gyermeksürgősségi ellátásban az új ügyeleti rendszer tükrében - mesterséges intelligencia (van helye a sürgősségi ellátásban? A jövő útja?) - gyermeksebészeti ellátás helyzete ügyeleti időben A hagyományokhoz híven természetesen most sem hiányozhatnak a gyakorlatra fókuszáló workshopok (POCUS, koraszülött, újszülött szülőszobai ellátása, kommunikációs technikák problémás serdülőkkel, szituációs gyakorlat) A szakmai program mellett érdemes időt szánni a város nevezetességeinek felfedezésére is. A Nyíregyházi Állatpark Európa egyik legszebb és legérdekesebb állatkertje. A gyönyörű környezetű Sóstó és a Múzeumfalu is megér egy kirándulást. A kongresszusnak otthont adó Kulturális Központ és a rendezvény résztvevőinek szálláshelyei a belvárosban vannak, így a város szívében található Kossuth tér impozáns épületeivel, szobraival ideális helyszín egy kellemes sétára. NEFMI rendelet az egészségügyi szakdolgozók továbbképzésének szabályairól 6. § (1) „SZABADON VÁLASZTHATÓ” elméleti továbbképzésnek minősül: az orvosok, fogorvosok, gyógyszerészek és az egészségügyi felsőfokú szakirányú szakképesítéssel rendelkezők folyamatos továbbképzéséről szóló miniszteri rendelet szerinti kötelező szakmacsoportos, valamint szabadon választható, akkreditált elméleti továbbképzésen történő részvétel. Folyamatos továbbképzés alapján megszerezhető pontértékek: 31-40 pontig minősített továbbképzés esetén: 20 pont. What is EVs in Immunity? 5 – 7 November, 2025 Divani Caravel Hotel, Athens, Greece ISEV is proud to announce the societies’ first conference focusing on EVs and immunity. This conference will bring thought leaders from various fields within Immunology and Extracellular Vesicle research together in order to address the key challenges at the interface of EV research and immunity. This conference will provide a unique forum for listening to the latest data from thought leaders, sharing new discoveries and exchanging ideas, setting up new collaborations, and identifying important future directions and research needs. Furthermore, this meeting will provide the opportunity to initiate the activities of an ISEV “Special Interest Group” (SIG) dedicated to Immunity and EVs/NVEPs. Dear Colleagues,

In November this year, we present the 22nd Edition of the EDF Euroderm Excellence Training Program: a unique course offered to the best residents in dermato-venereology throughout Europe. The theme of the EDF Euroderm Excellence 2025 is “Dermatology of Tomorrow”.

This course is organized by the European Dermatology Forum (EDF), a non-profit professional dermatology organization dedicated to improving the healthcare needs of dermatology patients in Europe. Over the course of 4 days, leading experts in dermatology from all over Europe will deliver the best of their knowledge to provide the attendees with the state-of-the-art dynamic teaching through a series of lectures and workshops. The objective of this experienced international Faculty is to provide an “in-depth” and “hands-on” know-how, covering the most important aspects of dermatological practice and science. Moreover, selected residents will have the chance to interact with a panel of the leading specialists and opinion leaders in dermatology and venereology. The ultimate objective is to stimulate your mind and help foster your goal of becoming a vital part in shaping the future of our discipline. The high quality of the course and interactive exchange is what makes the Euroderm Excellence such a unique course, and we hope that this will be a new stimulation for future collaboration and friendship among participants.
