Kedves Kollegák!
A Semmelweis Egyetem I. Sz. Szülészeti és Nőgyógyászati Klinikáján 1994. február 10-én tartottuk a Baross utcai szülészeti Esték 11. rendezvényét. A téma "A szülészeti és nőgyógyászati anesztézia aktuális kérdései" volt. Megállapítottuk, hogy a regionális (spinális és epidurális) érzéstelenítés az elmúlt évtizedben - számos előnyénél fogva - előkelő helyet kapott a szülészeti és nőgyógyászati anesztéziában.
Kívánatos, hogy a szülészeti és nőgyógyászati osztályok minél nagyobb arányban alkalmazzák. Cél az ellátás során, hogy ez az alternatíva is minden esetben rendelkezésre álljon, és mindig a beteg számára legkedvezőbb érzéstelenítési eljárást tudjuk ajánlani.
A meghívott előadók a téma hazai vezető szakemberei voltak. A szülészeken és aneszteziológusokon kívül neonatológusokat is meghívtunk, azzal a nem titkolt céllal, hogy a rendezvény után megalakítsuk a "Szülészeti és Perinatológiai Aneszteziológiai Társaságot (rövidítve SZPAT)". Sok külső ellendrukker nem nagy jövőt jósoltak kezdeményezésünknek. Nem lett igazuk. A SZPAT aktív társasággá nőtte ki magát. A szülészeti ellátásban érdekelt három szakembergárda együttműködése a hazai perinatológiát nemzetközi szintűre emelte.
Aneszteziológus, neonatológus és szülész szakemberek adták át egymásnak az elnöki megbízatást. Jól szervezett és eredményes nemzeti konferenciák követték egymást, s elérkeztünk a 20. jubileumi kongresszushoz. Erre 2013. november 8-9-én kerül sor, a helyszín a korábban már jól bevált Hunguest Hotel Palota, Lillafüreden. Várakozással tekintünk a konferencia gazdag szakmai programja elé, és valószínűleg kellemes lesz az elmúlt két évtized eredményeinek és élményeinek felidézése is.
Mindenkit szeretettel várunk, aki szívügyének tekinti a perinatalis aneszteziológiát, az anya/magzat/újszülött komplex ellátásának tudományát.
