Magyar Stroke Társaság 13th meeting of the European Society of Neurosonology and Cerebral Hemodynamics
Rendezvény kezdete: 2008.05.10.Rendezvény vége: 2008.05.13. Helyszín: Italy, Genova, A rendezvény Web oldala: http://www.neurosonology2008.it/index.html Recently, the application of ultrasound in neurosciences has significantly widened its horizon, not only in the diagnostic realm thanks to a better image resolution and more accurate flow measurements, but it entered the therapeutic realm with new and very exciting avenues: ultrasound enhanced thrombolysis in acute ischemic stroke, ultrasound-mediated drug delivery, ultrasound-mediated gene delivery. Indeed, over the last few years, we have seen an increasing interest in neurovascular ultrasound especially by young scientists who are dedicated to these aspects of ultrasonography, bringing new ideas and a very modern approach to diagnosis, monitoring, therapy and rehabilitation.

Magyar Aneszteziológiai és Intenzív Terápiás Társaság PCICS 2008 - European Symposium of the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society
Rendezvény kezdete: 2008.03.27.Rendezvény vége: 2008.03.30. Helyszín: Monaco, Monte Carlo, A rendezvény Web oldala: http://www.kenes.com/pcics/ Approximately one third of admissions of children to intensive care units are related to cardiac diseases, the vast majority congenital heart defects. Most of these children require heart surgery in the first weeks and months of life involving complex surgical and intensive care management. Much of the progress in recent years in improving survival has focused on better pre and postoperative intensive care. The PCICS is dedicated to bringing together an international group of physicians, surgeons, nurses and other related professionals to meet, discuss and learn how better to manage these deserving and challenging children.
