Founded in 1958, UEMS is the representative organisation for 1.6 million medical specialists in 34 countries across Europe. Established in 2008, EFLM incorporates EC4 and is the European branch of IFCC. Both organisations' objectives are to promote and improve science and education within the field of laboratory medicine, and are dedicated to improving patient outcomes through the highest standards of laboratory medicine practice.
The first Invitation to Participate brings together Europe's medical, scientific and pharmacy-trained specialists in a scientific programme that focuses on laboratory medicine's practice and contribution to health and healthcare across Europe. Where do we overlap in what we do? Where do we differ? What can we learn from each other? See the emerging programme that reflects our roles at the clinical interface and stimulates us to consider how we can enhance our contribution.
For industry, the conference is the key platform for engaging delegates across Europe. Participation packages include opportunities for wider involvement and promotion; Liverpool's BT Convention Centre allows easy access to exhibitors wishing to launch their latest advances in technology. The exhibition hall will form an integral part of the scientific programme.
