We would like to invite you to take part in a European survey on current laboratory practices for the evaluation of urine kidney stone risk factors and kidney stone analysis.
The aim of this survey is to assess the way laboratories in Europe handle preanalytical issues for kidney stone risk factor testing (e.g. calcium, phosphate, uric acid) and report and interpret the results. If you also perform kidney stone analysis a few extra questions will be asked.
Results of the survey will help us to assess current practice, identify some of the most critical issues and draft recommendations.
The survey will be open until 31 May 2025.
It will take approx. 15 minutes to complete the survey.
(one submission per laboratory is preferable)
This survey is created by the EFLM Committees "Postanalytical Phase" and "Preanalytical Phase" of the European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (EFLM).
