We offer a 5-day stereology course approved by the International Society of Stereology, which will be held in May 2004 at the Castle of Rauischholzhausen, near Marburg, Germany. The course will provide a practical and theoretical introduction to recent advances in stereology. The course will improve participants' skills in experimental design and in the application of statistic methods seen from a stereological view point. There will be ample opportunity for discussions between participants and instructors about specific stereological problems related to the participants' own projects.
