Tisztelt Kollégák!
Ezúton hívjuk fel szíves figyelmét arra, hogy a Semmelweis Egyetem I. sz. Sebészeti Klinika a 2010/2011. tanévben új, önkéntes szakmai kurzust indít SEBÉSZETI ETIKA címmel. Az előadássorozat ugyan alapvetően a graduális képzésben résztvevők tanrendjébe illeszkedik, ám a mellékelt részletes tematika alapján nyilvánvaló, hogy a műtétes szakmákban dolgozók szélesebb körében is érdeklődést kelthet. A sebész és bioetikus kurzusvezetők a résztvevők aktív bevonásával olyan etikai dilemmák kazuisztikus feldolgozását tervezik, amelyekkel a gyakorlati munkában valamennyi sebész kolléga szembesül.
A képzésen túl kiemelt célunk a tapasztalatcsere is. Mottónk ezért: „tanulva tanítsuk egymást!”
Kurzusvezetők:

Óraszám: 14 x 2 tanóra (hetente két óra egy szemeszteren keresztül)
Kurzus ideje: 2010/11 tanév I. szemeszter, keddi napokon 16:30-18:00
Helyszín: Semmelweis Egyetem, I. Sebészeti Klinika 1082 Üllői út 78, tanterem
Kurzus felvételének feltétele: Orvosi etika stúdiumok teljesítése (kollokvium), s legalább egy szemeszter sebészeti tanulmányok.
A kurzus leírása: A kurzus célja bevezetést nyújtani a sebészeti etika alapvető dilemmáiba. Mindegyik óra a problémák rövid bemutatásával kezdődik, általában egy-egy eset segítségével, majd ezt követi az adott kérdés elméleti kifejtése. Ez a kazuisztikus megközelítés különösen alkalmas az etikai problémák azonosítására és elemzésére.
A kurzus eredményeként a hallgatók képesek lesznek a sebészetben előforduló főbb etikai problémák felismerésére, s rendelkezni fognak azzal a logikai-fogalmi apparátussal, mely lehetővé teszi e gyakori dilemmák hatékonyabb elemzését és feloldását.

Minimally Invasive Thyroid Treatments (MITT) are increasingly applied in the clinical practice all over Europe for the treatment for benign and malignant thyroid diseases.
The MITT group has been founded in 2018 in Italy, to promote multidisciplinary partnership among physicians with different expertise who share the interest in MITT and to improve the clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic management of benign and malignant thyroid and parathyroid glands diseases.
During the 2024 MITT meeting, the present guidelines on both benign and malignant thyroid disease management will be presented, and the most widely used techniques for ablation will be presented by renowned experts in the field. Also, the most updated evidence on the application of MITT in benign thyroid nodules, autonomously functioning thyroid nodules, and malignant tumours will be illustrated.
Furthermore, a series of real-life clinical cases will be presented and discussed between the expert panel and the participants.
During the second day, the organization of a thyroid ablation clinical practice will be discussed, with particular focus on preoperative and postoperative patients’ management, possible type of anaesthesia, with the discussion of a video-recorded treatment.
In the end, a series of “hot topics” on minimally invasive treatments of the thyroid will be presented and discussed with the participants, including treatment of parathyroid adenomas, complications of MITT and their management, and the problem of nodule regrowth.
Hands-on workshops will also be available at the end of the meeting for those who will want to try the different available technologies and techniques on dedicated phantoms.
