Ez évben ünnepli alapításának 80. évfordulóját a Budapesten 1937-ben alapított FEMTEC (World Federation of Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy).
A 70. közgyűlésre és tudományos kongresszusra a Nápoly melletti Ischia Portoban kerül sor. Az alapítás körülményei miatt a megnyitó előadást volt elnökünk dr. Fluck István tartja. Umberto Solimene elnöksége alatt a Termál klaszterek helyzetéről, jövőjéről, az egészségügy és helyi fejlódésben játszott szerepükről lesz szó, mint fő téma.
A többnapos kongresszust kirándulások, történelmi fürdők megtekintése színesíti.
