ABSTRACTS
Abstracts on all aspects of psoriasis are invited for consideration by the Scientific Committee. Abstracts will be presented in either oral or poster sessions. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is Tuesday 1st August 2017. This deadline will be strictly adhered to and any abstracts submitted after this date will not be considered. Abstracts can be submitted online only. Authors will be notified of the outcome approximately three weeks after the deadline.
ORAL AND POSTER PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded for the best oral and poster presentations. |

It is our pleasure to announce the CME course "Renal disease in obesity and diabetes >>.
Advances in pathogenesis and therapeutics" which will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, November 24 and 25, 2017. This CME is an initiative of DIABESITY, a working group of the ERA-EDTA.
In this course we will discuss new aspects of obesity-related renal disease and diabetic nephropathy.

The Annual Meeting of the ÖGAI is the most important gathering of up to 300 basic and translational researchers and physicians from all over Austria to discuss their most recent findings.
This years' meeting will take place in Vienna and the scientific program covers basic and clinical immunology, infectious diseases, immune therapies as well as basic and clinical allergology. These topics will not only be addressed by outstanding international speakers but also by young scientists who will have the opportunity to present and discuss their work in oral and poster presentations, since supporting young talents is one of the main issues of this society.
As main topic we have chosen "Immunotherapy" and renowned international speakers will address this topic in key lectures from different angels.

• Fascinating session on Airway management in special circumstances: ‘Airways at the limits of life’ Dr Kevin Fong (London) and ‘Bombs bayonets and bicycles – trauma and the airway’ Dr Simon Mercer (Liverpool)
• Dr Simon Bricker (Chester) speaking on ‘The unique problems of the obstetric airway: real or imagined?’
• Launch of new ITU guidelines - covering all 4 areas: trauma, obstetric, ITU and extremes of life
• Exciting Debates on: ‘Advanced airway management should be a specialist training module’, and ‘Tried and tested rather than novelty gadgets - a conventional laryngoscope is the weapon of choice for routine first attempt intubation’
Workshops - Wednesday 22 November 2017
Alongside the scientific programme we are offering a ‘hands on’ workshop day providing delegates the opportunity to rotate around 8 stations throughout the day.
Workstations will include:
• Fibreoptic Intubation (FOI) handling skills/Airway simulation
• Awake FOI/preparation
• Supraglottic Airway Devices (SAD) – including FOI via SAD (Plan B)
• Videolaryngoscopy (Plan A)
• Virtual Endoscopy
• Scalpel cricothyroidotomy (Plan D)
• Ultrasound in airway management
• Paediatric airway management.
