Kedves Kollégák!
Az emésztőrendszeri betegségek kérdései az utóbbi években az orvosi szakma érdeklődésének előterébe kerültek. A fokozott figyelem okai között kétségtelenül az emésztőrendszeri beteg-ségekben szenvedők növekvő száma és az ismeretek szakadatlan bővülése a legfontosabbak. A diagnosztikus eljárások fejlődése, új patofiziológiai összefüggések felismerése, a kezelési módok újabb lehetőségeinek térhódítása, szemléletbeli változások és eltérő hangsúlyok megjelenése egyaránt indokolják a jelenlegi ismeretek összefoglalását és közreadását.
A Semmelweis Egyetem XVII. Gasztroenterológiai Továbbképző Tanfolyama 2017-ben ismét a gasztroenterológia legújabb eredményeinek bemutatására vállalkozik, a kongresszus résztvevői számára átfogó ismereteket nyújtva az emésztőrendszeri betegségek legfontosabb gyakorlati kérdéseiről. A tudományos ülés új ismereteket kínál az alapellátásban, az emésztőrendszeri betegségekkel foglalkozó szakellátásban dolgozó kollégáknak, a szakorvos jelölteknek és az egyetemi Doktori Iskola hallgatóinak egyaránt.
Őszintén reméljük, hogy a tanfolyam előadásait valamennyi részt-vevő tanulságosnak ítéli majd, és az ismereteket a mindennapi gyakorlatban hasznosítani is tudja.

Felhívjuk a figyelmet a Budapesten 2017. február 8-10. között megrendezésre kerülő Európai Endokrin Társaság alapkutatási posztgraduális továbbképző tanfolyamára (http://www.esebasic2017.com). Korlátozott számban még lehet rá jelentkezni.
Ismételten felhívjuk tagjaink figyelmét, hogy az Európai Endokrinológiai Társaság tagdíjait 2017-tól jelentősen csökkentették azoknak, akik tagjai egy nemzeti endokrinológiai társaságnak, így a MEAT tagokét is. Az ESE-tagság legnagyobb előnye, hogy a kongresszusokon és a továbbképző tanfolyamokon kedvezményes részvételi díjat alkalmaznak és ezen felül a kongresszusi részvétel, utazás stb. támogatására is lehet pályázni. A 2017-es tagdíj különösen kedvezményes a PhD hallgatóknak (10 EURO) ill. a 35 év alattiaknak (20 EURO). Az aktív dolgozó ESE tagok 2017. évi csökkentett tagdíja 55 EURO (korábban 80 EURO volt). The Masterclasses in advanced thyroid cancers (MAsterTC) are an initiative born under the auspices of the European Thyroid Association and aims to increase the knowledge on the diagnosis and treatment of advanced differentiated, medullary and anaplastic thyroid cancer. The Faculty will include endocrinologist, oncologist, pathologist, nuclear medicine doctors who have a recognized experience in the thyroid cancer topic.
MAsterTC will be a full immersion clinical and translational event designed for specialists with some experience in the thyroid cancer field who would like to receive further training on the diagnosis and treatment of these tumors from a multidisciplinary point of view.
Participants will be exposed to several topics and to a practice-oriented training.
MATC will be opened to a maximum of 50 participants and will be organized into plenary lectures and interactive workshops. Moreover, a tumor board scenery will be simulated where participants will present and discuss clinical cases to an International faculty of top experts (participants will be assigned to one of the 4 selected items and notified in advance to allow the preparation of the clinical case).
MATC will be divided into 2 educational parts:
1. Slides of the lectures shared with attendees before the event to give each participant the chance to deepen into different topics and to prepare for the in-person discussion
2. In-person event which will also give to the participants the opportunity to interact with experts in the field and to begin building an International Thyroid Cancer Network
The Masterclasses will be held in ENGLISH

Dear colleagues and friends,
We are pleased to announce the organization of the 2nd Cadaveric Course "All about forefoot - Ηands on fresh frozen cadaveric specimens" which will take place on June 20th – 21st, 2025, in Thessaloniki, Greece.
The Course is organized in cooperation with the Balkan Foot and Ankle Society (BAFAS).
In recent years we witnessed a significant increase of interest among orthopaedic surgeons in Foot and Ankle surgery and that’s why many worldwide experts have been invited to share with us their knowledge and experience. The topics that will be presented in the Course will cover a great range of the forefoot surgical procedures focusing on teaching safe Foot & Ankle surgery.
The theoretical part of the Course will be held at the Teloglion Fine Arts Foundation while the educational program on fresh frozen cadaveric specimens will take place at the Laboratory of Anatomy and Surgical Anatomy of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
As hosts and organizers we shall spare no effort in making your participation scientifically rewarding and as meaningful as possible. We hope in your active participation.
