| FNO elméleti és gyakorlati alkalmazása – térítésmentes képzés Zalaegerszegen |

2010. októberében a Mozgássérült Emberek Rehabilitációs Központja térítésmentes, 4 napos akkreditált képzést tart „Funkcióképesség, fogyatékosság és egészség nemzetközi osztályozása) elméleti és gyakorlati alkalmazása” címmel.
Az FNO használata segít abban, hogy a vizsgálatok során ne a kiesett, hanem a meglévő funkciókra és képességekre, valamint a környezet szerepére fókuszáljunk.
Ez a szemlélet és az FNO használata Magyarországon is egyre nagyobb teret hódít, így pl. ezt a módszert alkalmazzák a megváltozott munkaképesség felmérésében, valamint hasznos eszköznek bizonyult a mozgássérült emberek komplex rehabilitációjában is.
Az FNO könyv ajánlásával összhangban az osztályozás használatához megfelelő jártasság megszerzése javasolt. A képzésen résztvevők megismerhetik az FNO elméleti hátterét, kódolási és minősítési szabályait, gyakorlatát. Önállóan képesek lesznek a megfelelő kódok kiválasztására és minősítésére. A felhasználók igényeihez alkalmazkodó kerekesszék kiválasztás elméleti és gyakorlati szempontjaiba is betekintést kapnak.
