Dear Colleagues, It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in European Perspectives in Inflammatory Bowel Disease Congress in Lisbon, Portugal, 16–17 June 2006.
This meeting will serve as a premier forum where specialists in the inflammatory bowel diseases, leading gastroenterologists, and practicing clinicians can review the state of the art and share the newest advances in the multidisciplinary management of the inflammatory bowel diseases. The congress will focus on overview lectures by widely recognized international experts complemented with debate sessions and case discussions.
This forum of leading clinicians and researchers will present expert opinions that will contribute to advances in the management of your IBD patients.

Program Objectives
This seminar provides the development of the surgeons' technical skills in harvesting and handling free flaps in the living tissue (pig).
Seminar description
34-Hour seminar including cutaneous, muscular / musculo-cutanous, osseous and intra-abdominal flaps.
Facilities
The training process - two participants per operating table including anesthesia, operating lamp, instruments, mono- and bipolar coagulator, suction - is closely monitored by instructor, who provides guidance, assistance, feedback, and skill evaluation throughout the entire course. |
