44th European Society of Paediatric Infectious Diseases Meeting

Dear Hungarian Pediatric Association,  

I am writing to you on behalf of the 44th European Society of Paediatric Infectious Diseases Meeting (ESPID 2026) which will take place 1-5 June 2026 in Bologna & Online.  

We would like to kindly ask you to share information about the meeting with your members and collaborate in a promotional exchange.  

The ESPID Meeting gives centre-stage to cutting-edge research, puts a spotlight on the latest clinical practices, and provides amazing career opportunities for those interested in paediatric infectious diseases. ESPID 2026 is accepting abstracts until 20 January and your members can benefit from Early Rates until 24 March.

Hot Topics in Infection and Immunity in Children (IIC) – The ESPID-Oxford Course is a residential training course which aims to provide basic information and updates in key areas of paediatric infection.

The course is targeted at paediatric infectious disease PID trainees and trainers, including SAS, LED & Consultant doctors and all those who manage children with infections, covering topics in Paediatric infection. 

Delegates come from all over the world there is usually a 50/50 mix of trainees/consultants.

All sessions are plenary and include a mix of lectures, case rounds, The Debate and the Annual IIC Quiz.

Congress of the European Paediatric Academic Societies

Our joint, biennial scientific and educational event (EAPS) has been rebranded and will now be known as the Congress of the European Paediatric Academic Societies (CEPAS -  www.cepas.org).

The next CEPAS will take place from 28 - 31 October 2026, continuing the tradition of our joint biennial congress held over the last 18 years.
