2009-ben indítottuk útjára a kétévente megrendezésre kerülő Budapesti Immunológiai Fórumot (BIF-et). A BIF, mint tanfolyam célja a klinikai immunológia megértéséhez nélkülözhetetlen immunológiai alapfogalmak, az immunológiai kórképek újdonságainak és az immunmoduláció különböző módszereinek az áttekintése. Rendezvényeinket követően számos pozitív vélemény érkezett, sokan jelezték, hogy várják a következő BIF-et, amit immár nyolcadik alkalommal, nagy örömmel szervezünk meg 2023-ban.

Az immunológia rohamos fejlődése bőségesen kínál témát, melyek tárgyalásához nemzetközileg elismert szakembereket kértünk fel. A BIF8 témái széles spektrumot ölelnek fel, ennek megfelelően a konferencián áttekintjük az immunológiai alapfogalmakat, az immunológiai kórképek patogenetikai, diagnosztikus és terápiás újdonságait, a legújabb EULAR ajánlásokat, valamint külön szekciókat szentelünk az interdiszciplináris immunológia területének (mely érinti többek között a bőrgyógyászatot, a hematológiát, az infektológiát, a kardiológiát, a nefrológiát, a neurológiát, a pulmonológiát és a szemészetet).

A Szak- és Továbbképzési Központ az elmúlt évek tapasztalatai alapján változtatott a tanfolyami részvétel regisztrációs gyakorlatán, valamint az online vizsgázás módján is. Ezentúl a tanfolyamon résztvevőknek naponta csak a tanfolyamra érkezéskor kell regisztrálniuk és már a tanfolyam helyszínén és ideje alatt megpróbálhatják saját mobil eszközeikről megoldani az előadások anyagából összeállított tesztkérdéseket. Az otthonról történő vizsgázás lehetősége változatlanul megmaradt a tanfolyam zárását követően még egy héten keresztül.

Az online jelentkezési határidő az Oftex portálon: 2023.02.06-a éjfél, ezt követően a tanfolyam kezdetekor a helyszínen, a regisztrációs asztalnál lehet még jelentkezni a tanfolyamra.

Geneva Health Forum, 3^rd to 5^th May 2022: "Covid-19 Pandemic and Environmental Emergency: Reinventing Global Health in Times of Global Changes"

The Geneva Health Forum (GHF) brings us together around major global health issues. It gives a voice to actors from the field and bridges them with policy-makers present in Geneva. It gives visibility to innovative, accessible and sustainable practices and tools and to important initiatives. After more than 15 years of existence, the GHF has become a crucial event in the field of global health.

For its ninth edition, which will take place from 3^rd to 5^th May 2022, the Geneva Health Forum will address crucial issues for our future. Under the theme “Covid-19 Pandemic and Environmental Emergency: Reinventing Global Health in Times of Global Changes”, the GHF will help us learn the lessons from the Covid-19 crisis and better understand the impact of environmental degradation on human health.

Indeed, the Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted our fragility as societies in the face of zoonoses, diseases that appear in the animal world and that can spread to human beings. Biodiversity loss and fragile ecosystems are factors that worsen this risk. Pollution and climate change are already having an impact on our health.

One thing is clear: our health is intrinsically linked to the health of the environment and global health must be revisited in the light of these implications. A paradigm shift is needed.

The Geneva Health Forum will provide a platform to help us better understand these issues and discover initiatives that can offer possible solutions.

True to its spirit of networking platform, the GHF 2022 will be held face-to-face at the Geneva International Conference Center (CICG). In order to allow our public who cannot join us to participate in the event remotely, we will broadcast a selection of panels on a digital platform.

The Congress of the European Association of Dermato-Oncology (EADO) is now a very well established scientific meeting, and has participants not only from Europe, but from all continents of the world. It is the largest congress in dermato-oncology and there are no competing congresses in this field.

The 18th EADO Congresswill be hosted in the amazing city of Seville, Spain and will be a hybrid event comprising both an in-person conference and a virtual conference. We believe it will be one of the first congresses where face-to-face meetings will once again be possible.

Each EADO congress brings with it a special area of emphasis and Seville has a clinical focus on both the early diagnosis of skin cancer and dermatosurgery as part of the integral approach to skin cancer patients. Consequently, the promising therapeutic landscape that the increasingly conservative surgery and the latest breakthroughs in immunotherapy and targeted therapy bring to skin cancer patients will be comprehensively discussed in Seville, with also special attention to dermoscopy and other diagnostic technologies.

Compared to previous congresses, there is a balanced offering of topics on melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer.
