Tisztelt Ifjú Kardiológus Kollégák!
Ezúton tájékoztatunk mindenkit, hogy XXI. Ifjúsági Kardiológus Napok a hagyományokhoz híven 2014-ban ismét Lillafüreden, a Palota Szállóban kerül megrendezésre, időpontja: 2014. április 11-13.
Szeretettel várjunk minden érdeklődő, elsősorban 35 éven aluli fiatal kolléga jelentkezését, aki - lehetőség szerint - a Magyar Kardiológusok Társaságának tagja!
A rendezvényre való jelentkezésre idén is csak elektronikus úton lesz lehetőség! Az MKT saját honlapján külön helyet biztosít az Ifjúsági Bizottság híreinek, eseményeinek. A honlap az MKT oldaláról http://www.mkardio.org érhető el. Tisztelettel kérek mindenkit, hogy itt informálódjon a részleteket illetően.
Január folyamán honlapunkra felkerül a XXI. Ifjúsági Kardiológus Napokkal kapcsolatos összes fontos információ; a tervezett program, jelentkezési határidő, és az on-line regisztráció menetének pontos leírása.

Rendezvényünknek ebben az évben különös jelentősége és aktualitása van. Ennek oka, hogy az Európai Hypertonia Társaság 2013-as hypertonia ajánlásában a szubklinikus célszerv-károsodások kimutatását célzó vizsgálatok között ismét javasolja az aorta pulzushullám terjedési sebességének mérését is. A dokumentum az emelkedett artériás stiffness paraméterekkel rendelkező pácienseket a magas, illetve a nagyon magas rizikójú csoportba sorolja. Az artériás funkció, a centrális vérnyomás vizsgálata a modern kardiovaszkuláris diagnosztikában fontos helyet kapott és immáron az evidencia bázisú tudományos ismereteket szintetizáló ajánlásokban is megjelent.
Társaságunk alapelveihez hűen ezúttal is törekedtünk arra, hogy rendezvényünk az orvosszakmák határain átívelő prevenciós szemléletet tükrözze, ennek megfelelően a Magyar Diabetes Társaság, a Magyar Kardiológusok Társasága, a Stroke Társság, valamint a Hypertonia és Alvástársaság is képviselteti magát a kongresszuson. Az elmélet mellett a vaszkuláris funkció vizsgálatának gyakorlati kivitelezését és értékelését is igyekszünk közelebb hozni a mindennapi orvosi gyakorlathoz - nemcsak háziorvosok számára.
