The Scientific Committee is pleased to invite you to:
- download the Preliminary Scientific Program and Schedule at a Glance available in the Congress Website - submit abstracts for selection as oral and poster presentations until 14 April 2014 as new updated deadline for submission through the On-line Abstract Submission System.
The two best presentations, after due evaluation by the Scientific Committee, will receive an award granted by Hip International respectively of 1.500 € and 1.000 €.
The awarded abstracts will be published as full original article/review in a forthcoming issue of Hip International. All selected abstracts will be included in a regular issue of Hip
International available at the Congress.

A konferencia elnöke Dr. Varró András Professzor Úr, a Szegedi Tudományegyetem Általános Orvostudományi Kar Farmakológiai és Farmakoterápiai Intézetének igazgatója, az IACS európai szekciójának elnöke.
A tudományos bizottság elnöke Dr. Végh Ágnes Professzor Asszony, a konferencia szervező bizottságának elnökei Dr. Baczkó István egyetemi docens és Dr. Jost Norbert tudományos főmunkatárs, mindhárman az SZTE ÁOK Farmakológiai és Farmakoterápiai Intézet munkatársai.
A regisztrációs díj az MKT tagjai részére 150 euro, nem tagoknak 300 euro.
A regisztrációs díj fedezi a tudományos előadásokon, poszter szekciókon, a kiránduláson való részvételt, valamint a kongresszusi étkezési költségeket (ebéd, vacsora, kávészünetek).
A konferencia nyelve angol. A konferencián a meghívott előadók mellett a regisztrált résztvevők poszter prezentáció formájában mutathatják be eredményeiket.

Kérjük, hogy az e-mail tárgy sorban tüntessék fel az „IACS absztrakt – első szerző neve” szöveget a gyorsabb és hatékonyabb feldolgozásérdekében. Beadási határidő: 2014. július 15.
Az absztraktok elkészítésénél a következő formai követelményeket kérjük szem előtt tartani:
- Microsoft Word kompatibilis file formátumot, A4-es papírméretet, „Times” betűtípust, 12-es betűméretet használjanak.
- A cím után új sorban a szerzőket sorolják fel, első szerzőként a posztert prezentáló szerzőt tüntessék fel.
- Ezt kövesse a szerzők munkahelye.
- Az absztrakt szövege maximálisan 300 szóból állhat.

Clinical Proton MR Spectroscopy
Localised magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) is an important supplement to magnetic resonance imaging for medical diagnosis in a variety of diseases. MRS offers unique biochemical information from various organs and tissues and is thus increasingly applied to improve tissue characterisation in normal and pathological states. While the examination of other nuclei is also possible, the most prominent clinical applications lie in the field of proton MRS: So the course will cover the physical principles, measurement techniques, and the quantification methods of proton MRS. Clinical applications and specific considerations in distinct pathologies will be discussed. Practical demonstrations and examinations at the available 1.5 T and 3 T systems at the University Hospital Tübingen are included. |

It is our pleasure to invite you to the Brno Flap Dissection Course 2025, taking place from September 20–23, 2025, in Brno, Czech Republic.
This year’s course will feature an outstanding faculty of internationally renowned experts in reconstructive microsurgery:- J.P. Hong (South Korea)

- Bohdan Pomahač (USA)
- Jian Farhadi (UK/Switzerland)
Their expertise covers head, neck, and facial reconstruction, breast and extremity reconstruction—including orthoplastic procedures—and robotic microsurgery. This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from some of the most respected leaders in the field.
The course opens on Saturday, September 20, with a Mini-Symposium, where all four guest speakers will deliver keynote lectures.
The course program includes:- Three days of cadaveric dissections covering both basic and advanced flap techniques
- Hands-on training in pairs, under the guidance of expert faculty
- A workshop on preoperative planning and diagnostics for perforator flaps
- A microvascular anastomosis workshop – including robot-assisted training on animal models
A special highlight of the course will be a live demonstration of facial transplant harvest techniques by Professor Pomahač.
