2017-ben a Sri Lanka-i Gyermekorvos Társaság a házigazdája a hatodik "Global Congress for Consensus in Paediatrics and Child Health (CIP) konferenciának, amely 2017. november 12-15 között kerül megrendezésre Colomboban.
A kongresszus a legfontosabb gyermekbetegségekkel, gyermek egészségügyi kérdésekkel, azok megoldási lehetőségeivel foglalkozik.
