Magyarországon 40 000 beteg szenved nyiroködémában. A betegség minden 6. szolid tumor kezelése után jelentkezik. A lymphoedema prevalenciája különböző tanulmányok szerint 1,3 - 18,3:1000.
A kórkép progresszív természete miatt fontos a korai diagnózis és terápia. A "gold standard" kezelés a komplex fizikális terápia, azonban ennek eredménytelensége esetén a betegség előrehaladtával a páciens életminősége jelentősen csökken.
A sebészi kezelés egyrészt a reduktív műtéteket jelenti, másrészt a fiziológiás rekonstrukciós nyirokműtéteket, melyek a nyirokelfolyás visszaállítását segítik elő. A sikeres fiziológiás rekonstrukciós műtétek alapfeltétele a megfelelő pre- és postoperatív konzervatív ellátás, a pontos betegszelekció, az optimális donor oldal- és funkcionális nyirokér választás.
A Rekonstrukciós Nyiroksebészeti és Lymphologiai Szimpózium célja a nyiroksebészeti és konzervatív módszerek bemutatás, és azok kapcsolatának ismertetése a nyiroködéma ellátásában.

A tavalyi évhez hasonlóan, idén is megrendezésre kerül a Magyar Orvostudomány Napok, amelynek időpontja 2022. november 22-23.
Idén a Magyar Osteológiai és Osteoarthrológiai Társaság vállalta a konferencia szakmai programjának összeállítását. Az előadások témái az idősebb korosztályban növekvő jelentőségű csontritkulásról, a rendkívül sok pácienst érintő degeneratív ízületi bántalmakról, mozgásszervi panaszokról szólnak, amelyeknek napjaink korosodó modern társadalmában kiemelt fontosságúak és egyre nagyobb betegszámot képeznek.
A konferenciára orvosok és szakdolgozók egyaránt jelentkezhetnek, a részvételért pedig akkreditált pontot kapnak majd. A fórum személyes részvétel formájában kerül megrendezésre a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia Felolvasótermében. A részvétel ingyenes, de regisztrációhoz kötött! A Magyar Tudományos Akadémián 2022. november 22-23-án tartandó, 16 kredit ponttal akkreditált, tudományos ülésen a résztvevők átfogó képet kaphatnak a mozgásszervi betegségek ellátásának jelenéről és az ellátásban várható változásokról. Ezt követően a metabolikus csontbetegségekkel, döntően az osteoporosissal kapcsolatos legújabb tudományos eredményeket hallhatják. November 23-án pedig a gyulladásos és degeneratív hátterű mozgásszervi kórképek diagnosztikájának és kezelésének legújabb eredményeit, irányelveit foglalják össze az előadók.

Minimally Invasive Thyroid Treatments (MITT) are increasingly applied in the clinical practice all over Europe for the treatment for benign and malignant thyroid diseases.
The MITT group has been founded in 2018 in Italy, to promote multidisciplinary partnership among physicians with different expertise who share the interest in MITT and to improve the clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic management of benign and malignant thyroid and parathyroid glands diseases.
During the 2024 MITT meeting, the present guidelines on both benign and malignant thyroid disease management will be presented, and the most widely used techniques for ablation will be presented by renowned experts in the field. Also, the most updated evidence on the application of MITT in benign thyroid nodules, autonomously functioning thyroid nodules, and malignant tumours will be illustrated.
Furthermore, a series of real-life clinical cases will be presented and discussed between the expert panel and the participants.
During the second day, the organization of a thyroid ablation clinical practice will be discussed, with particular focus on preoperative and postoperative patients’ management, possible type of anaesthesia, with the discussion of a video-recorded treatment.
In the end, a series of “hot topics” on minimally invasive treatments of the thyroid will be presented and discussed with the participants, including treatment of parathyroid adenomas, complications of MITT and their management, and the problem of nodule regrowth.
Hands-on workshops will also be available at the end of the meeting for those who will want to try the different available technologies and techniques on dedicated phantoms.
