Felhívjuk a figyelmet a Budapesten 2017. február 8-10. között megrendezésre kerülő Európai Endokrin Társaság alapkutatási posztgraduális továbbképző tanfolyamára (http://www.esebasic2017.com). Korlátozott számban még lehet rá jelentkezni.
Ismételten felhívjuk tagjaink figyelmét, hogy az Európai Endokrinológiai Társaság tagdíjait 2017-tól jelentősen csökkentették azoknak, akik tagjai egy nemzeti endokrinológiai társaságnak, így a MEAT tagokét is. Az ESE-tagság legnagyobb előnye, hogy a kongresszusokon és a továbbképző tanfolyamokon kedvezményes részvételi díjat alkalmaznak és ezen felül a kongresszusi részvétel, utazás stb. támogatására is lehet pályázni. A 2017-es tagdíj különösen kedvezményes a PhD hallgatóknak (10 EURO) ill. a 35 év alattiaknak (20 EURO). Az aktív dolgozó ESE tagok 2017. évi csökkentett tagdíja 55 EURO (korábban 80 EURO volt). From May 24 - 27, 2008, the "9th European Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery - First ESTES Congress" will take place in Budapest, Hungary.
This will be the first congress after the merger in May 2007 of two of Europe's largest trauma societies - ETS (European Trauma Society) and EATES (European Association for Trauma and Emergency Surgery) into ESTES - the European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery. With more than 5000 members and the support of several national trauma societies, ESTES is capable of significantly influencing the development and improvement of standards of trauma and emergency surgery in Europe.
Without doubt, Budapest 2008 will be a landmark event for the scientific community in Europe and beyond - which is why, on behalf of Congress President Peter Fröhlich and Congress Secretary Vilmos Vecsei, I invite you and your members to participate actively in this meeting.

| Recent developments in the field of cardiac imaging technologies led to the introduction of 3, 4 or even 7-dimensional depictions as diagnostic tools. There are only very few areas in medicine where anatomic as well as functional imaging are as crucial as in cardiology – this is mainly due to the constant movement of the targeted organ! The problem for the user is to catch up with these developments which reach the market at such rapid speed. |
