| MEGHÍVÓ XVIII. Magyar Podiátriai és Lábsebészeti Vándorgyűlés Lábelváltozások új kezelési módszerei, work- shop és szeminárium Kecskemét, Granada Konferencia Wellness és Sport Hotel**** 2014. november 28-29. Kedves Kollegina/Kolléga! Kecskemét gyakorlatilag az ország közepe, így földrajzilag is a hazai találkozások helyszíne. Ezért is jelentős és fontos a lábsebészet iránt egyre nagyobb számban érdeklődők számára, hogy a XVIII. Vándorgyűlésünket, 2014. november 28-29-én, Dr. Gera László traumatológus osztályvezető főorvos és munkatársai szervezik, a Bács-Kiskun Megyei kórház és főigazgatója: Dr. Svébis Mihály c. egyetemi docens támogatásával. A korszerű lábsebészet további előnye, hogy az egy napos és ambuláns sebészet keretein belül is végezhető, műszerigénye csekély. A kongresszus szakmai programjába igyekeztünk mindenkit érdeklő általános témákon kívül a ritkábban előforduló és határterületeket is érintő témaköröket is bevonni és számos meghívott külföldi előadó révén még eredményesebbé tenni a tudományos tartalmat. Továbbra is várjuk a lábbal foglalkozó szakemberek, podiáterek, gyógytornászok, gyógy-pedikűrösök, diabetesz szakápolók, védőnők jelentkezését is. Vándorgyűléseink hagyományos része a péntek délelőtti - eddig igen sikeres - társasági program, erre Kecskemét városa nagy választékot kínál, melyre várjuk a kísérőket is. (A kongresszus helyszíne és szálloda választásában - ugyancsak hagyományos már, - hogy a kísérők, családok és gyermekek számára legyen lehetőség wellness használatára és az ott tartózkodás kedvezményes hosszabbítására.) Az esti programjaink a jókedv és a kikapcsolódás mellett az oldott hangulatú, baráti beszélgetések helyszíne is. Reméljük, hogy erre "a találkozásra" is mint magas színvonalú kongresszusra, work shop-ra, emlékezhetünk később. Our Foundation, in collaboration with the Policlinic Hospital in Milan, organizes every year a “Course on Advances in Nephrology, Dialysis, and Transplantation”.
Lessons are given by the best international experts and the Course is attended by more than one thousand participants (nephrologists, immunologists and rheumatologists).
More than 20 companies of the pharmaceutical, laboratory, instrumentation, and scientific publishing field are involved each year as sponsors and several of them organize satellite meetings during the intervals between lessons or on the starting day of the Course.
A simultaneous translation (Italian-English and vice-versa) is operative during the whole course, allowing the active attendance not only of Italian, but also of foreign participants.

Dear Colleague
Considerable progress has been made over recent years in our understanding of psoriasis at both fundamental basic science and clinical levels. Identification of immunopathological mechanisms that lead to the expression of disease and elucidation of cellular processes which control proliferation and differentiation are integral to the development of new therapies and therapeutic approaches specifically designed for psoriasis. Furthermore, significant progress has been made in understanding the genetic architecture of psoriasis which in turn highlight key biological pathways, some shared with other auto-immune diseases. Emerging evidence suggests that psoriasis is associated with risk of cardiovascular disease and other comorbidities. The true relationships between these conditions and determination of mechanisms will be important in the long-term management of psoriasis. Building on the success of our previous International Congresses held every three years since 1996, Psoriasis: from Gene to Clinic is designed to provide a forum for experts from around the world to present and discuss cutting edge issues. Delegates are anticipated to include clinicians, scientists and members of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
To reflect the areas of current scientific and clinical interests, the meeting will concentrate on specific plenary topics: genes and pathogenesis; inflammation and immunity, comorbidites and targeted therapeutics. Invited keynote lectures given by three leading international experts from the world of academia – Professor Stephen Holgate, Southampton, UK; Professor Jens Schroeder, Kiel, Germany and; Professor Jonathan Barker, London,UK. – will complement the formal sessions. There will be plenty of opportunity for free communications on any aspect of psoriasis, either as oral or poster presentations. Time will be available for informal discussions. The high quality of the meeting is again reflected in our choice of venue. The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre is uniquely situated in the shadow of Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye. The welcome reception will take place at the conference centre and the Congress Banquet will be held at the magnificent Natural History Museum, a unique, historic venue in the heart of London.
