| MEGHÍVÓ XVIII. Magyar Podiátriai és Lábsebészeti Vándorgyűlés Lábelváltozások új kezelési módszerei, work- shop és szeminárium Kecskemét, Granada Konferencia Wellness és Sport Hotel**** 2014. november 28-29. Kedves Kollegina/Kolléga! Kecskemét gyakorlatilag az ország közepe, így földrajzilag is a hazai találkozások helyszíne. Ezért is jelentős és fontos a lábsebészet iránt egyre nagyobb számban érdeklődők számára, hogy a XVIII. Vándorgyűlésünket, 2014. november 28-29-én, Dr. Gera László traumatológus osztályvezető főorvos és munkatársai szervezik, a Bács-Kiskun Megyei kórház és főigazgatója: Dr. Svébis Mihály c. egyetemi docens támogatásával. A korszerű lábsebészet további előnye, hogy az egy napos és ambuláns sebészet keretein belül is végezhető, műszerigénye csekély. A kongresszus szakmai programjába igyekeztünk mindenkit érdeklő általános témákon kívül a ritkábban előforduló és határterületeket is érintő témaköröket is bevonni és számos meghívott külföldi előadó révén még eredményesebbé tenni a tudományos tartalmat. Továbbra is várjuk a lábbal foglalkozó szakemberek, podiáterek, gyógytornászok, gyógy-pedikűrösök, diabetesz szakápolók, védőnők jelentkezését is. Vándorgyűléseink hagyományos része a péntek délelőtti - eddig igen sikeres - társasági program, erre Kecskemét városa nagy választékot kínál, melyre várjuk a kísérőket is. (A kongresszus helyszíne és szálloda választásában - ugyancsak hagyományos már, - hogy a kísérők, családok és gyermekek számára legyen lehetőség wellness használatára és az ott tartózkodás kedvezményes hosszabbítására.) Az esti programjaink a jókedv és a kikapcsolódás mellett az oldott hangulatú, baráti beszélgetések helyszíne is. Reméljük, hogy erre "a találkozásra" is mint magas színvonalú kongresszusra, work shop-ra, emlékezhetünk később. Jöjjenek el, gyertek el minél többen, hogy egymástól tanulhassunk és a tudományos rendezvény vitái mellett jól érezhessük magunkat Kecskeméten. Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is a great pleasure to invite you to the 15th Congress of ISPD, which will be held in Madrid, Spain, from September 7th to 10th, 2014.
During the past years the increasing number of participants confirmed that the field of peritoneal dialysis is flourishing and increasingly contributing to cutting edge research in nephrology. In particular ISPD as a society is growing and expanding. More young physicians and scientists are joining the community, bringing fresh enthusiasm and new ideas, from many parts of the world!
The 15th Congress of ISPD will be an excellent opportunity to realize the changes in the field and to envision new perspectives for basic and clinical research. The ground breaking translational program will draw together experts from all over the world and will encompass innovations in diagnosis, advances in clinical practice, novel therapeutic approaches, and new insights into cellular and animal models. In addition, specific educational sessions, covering a basic knowledge will be available to encourage the participation of ISPD junior members.
Spain and Portugal are European countries involved in the field of peritoneal dialysis and the Group of Peritoneal Studies from Madrid (IRSIN, REDinREN, Hospitals La Paz and La Princesa) and Hospital San Antonio, from Porto are two of the leading research groups in peritoneal pathophysiology and peritoneal function. Besides, the city of Madrid with its historical background and long-standing tradition is a cosmopolitan and stimulating place able to inspire and entertain scientists from around the world.
Thus, we are confident that the enchanted charm of our city will be a trend setter for the future of peritoneal dialysis!

Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the third annual International Graduate Student Immunology Conference (IGSIC). IGSIC 2014 will be hosted at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, USA on September 11-13, 2014.
IGSIC provides an annual venue for immunology graduate students to present their research and develop long lasting professional relationships with their peers in immunology, which is critical for establishing future collaborations.
Throughout the conference series, participants will attend seminars from leading immunologists who conduct cutting-edge research in different sub-disciplines of immunology. To our knowledge, this conference is the only meeting of its kind -- a student-organized, student-focused event. In order to promote attendance by graduate students worldwide, the meeting fees are kept low (30 USD).
The conference includes:
- Oral and poster presentations presented by the attendees
- Keynote seminar series by faculty members from the hosting institution
- One-on-one meetings with UT Southwestern Immunology
